About Me

Thank you for visiting my blog. I'm Clare, an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator and lover of all things crafty! I live just outside Belfast in Northern Ireland. I've been married to my hubby Johnny for 17 years and have 3 beautiful daughters and a  Lhasa Apso named Cookie. I have been a Scout Leader for 16 years and love getting away from it all on camp, although I miss my craft supplies when I'm gone.

I have always been crafty but it was back in 2006 when I first discovered Scrapbooking and from there began something of a love affair with paper, stamps, ribbons, buttons and such. I loved being able to tell the story behind my photos and create pages that my family would treasure for years to come.
I started making cards as a way to use up my paper scraps and soon I was selling to friends and family. At the end of 2011 I set up my business Maple Leaf Memories. The Maple Leaf portion of my business name is in reference to my childhood years spent growing up in Canada and my photos from this time are some of my favourite to scrapbook with and of course preserving memories is what scrapbooking is all about.

My first craft fair was December 2011 at my daughters school following a request from my daughters teacher after I had made her some handmade gifts and it was a great success. I now attend several fairs a year and love to meet other crafters.

I joined Stampin' Up! in February 2012 after falling in love with the products. I originally just wanted the discount on supplies offered to demos but before I knew it, I was running classes and building a team. I have made so many friends through Stampin Up and I love being a part of such a wonderfully inspirational and supportive community.

I'm lucky to have such a great job doing what I love and I would love to hear from you if I can help you in any way, either to place an order for you or if you would like to join me at an upcoming class or perhaps you are interested in joining Stampin' Up! yourself? I look forward to hearing from you!
