Petal Palette card from Onstage

Hello again, the card I'd like to share with you today was one of the projects we made at OnStage in Solihull back in November when we got our first look at the new Stampin' Up Spring catalogue.
It features the Petal Palette stamp set which is a double stamp set with plenty of images and sentiments making it a great set for all sorts of projects. There is also a set of matching dies so no fussy cutting images out.
I started out by stamping the Bird image from the set onto white card with Calypso Coral ink and the sentiment with Basic Grey ink, then cut it out using circle dies and my Big Shot.
I used a Blender Pen and some ink from the lid of my Calypso Coral inkpad to randomly colour some of the flowers on the paper from the Petal Passion Designer Series.
These patterned papers are printed in black and white and can be used just as they are or you can add colour as I have done on my card with a Blender pen and an inkpad or why not try Stampin' markers, Watercolour pencils, sponges, a brayer or the new Stampin' Blends?
I finished my card with another strip of patterned paper from the pack, some Whisper White Organza ribbon and you might not have spotted the Petal Passion embellishments just peeking out either side of the die cut circle. I used Glue dots to hold these in place securely.
Use your Stampin' Blends to colour the Whisper White Ribbon and you'll never have any problems co-ordinating your projects again!
I hoped you liked today's project and you can find all the products I used for today's card in my online shop simply by clicking the link below.
