A Special Anniversary

For todays' card, I pulled out a stamp that I haven't used for a while called Number of Years. This stamp set and it's co-ordinating dies are a great staple for your crafting as it's perfect for birthday, anniversary and first day at school cards because you can personalise the card for the recipient. I have also used this set several times for scrapbooking.
When I needed to make a card to celebrate a special anniversary, I reached for this set straight away. I stamped the foliage with Old Olive ink then added some flowers with Berry Burst, Blushing Bride and Night of Navy, which I stamped off first.
I stamped the numbers onto spare Whisper White with Berry Burst ink and cut them out with the framelits and added them to the card with Tombow glue. I used Wink of Stella on the numbers for a subtle shimmer added a few Rhinestone Jewels for extra sparkle.
I hope you enjoyed my card today. If you would like to purchase these or any other Stampin' Up projects, you can find them in my Online Shop by clicking on the link below.

OnStage Gifts

Good morning! Today I want to show you the gifts I brought with me to Onstage last weekend. My upline's team is called the Pinkies so when I saw this Pink Fizz bath bar, I knew I had to get it! The fact that it smelt lush was an added bonus.
I took inspiration from the bar itself for my gift wrapping and stamped multiple stars onto vellum with Versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.
I stamped a tag using the Label Me Pretty set and cut it out with the co-ordinating punch. I embossed the sentiment in gold as well and added a small pink heart punched out using the Cookie Builder punch. I added some gold sequin trim to finish and tied it all up with some Powder Pink Ribbon.
I also brought a gift for my roommate Nicole. We have been sharing a room together since I first started attending Stampin' Up events and we always have a great time! I was a bit worried about how it would survive the trip in my suitcase but luckily enough it arrived in one piece.
I purchased the initial mug earlier this year and filled it with some designer pencils and matching heart post-it notes perfect for Nicole to use with her new Spring/Summer catalogue, I'm just hoping she had enough as the new catalogue is amazing! I filled up any remaining gaps with chocolate.
I placed some cardstock in the bottom of a Gusseted Cellophane bag to create a base, added the mug then tied the top with some Black and White wired ribbon from the Autumn/Winter catalogue which I curled around a pencil.
I stamped the base of the dragonfly with Bermuda Bay ink and daubed some Old Olive onto the edges. I cut it out with matching dies and also cut a detailed dragonfly from vellum using the same dies and glued them together at the body. I cut two tags from the Lots of Labels framelits and stamped the Whisper White tag with the back round spot stamp and Pool Party ink and added the dragonfly and some Rhinestone Jewels to finish.

I hope you enjoyed my shares today. If you would like to purchase and of the supplies I've used, just click on the link below to be taken to my Online shop.

New products from Onstage

Hello! Would you like to see a sneak peek of some new products that will be in the Spring/ Summer catalogue next year?
I am still in full on Christmas prep mode here but it was refreshing to see what will be available in the catalogue next year at OnStage last weekend.

This was my favourite make and take from OnStage, the products are from the Sweet Soiree suite and I just love the beautiful papers with their hand painted designs and silver foil. The silver box is a ready made item which will be available in packs of 12 and are perfect for parties and events. The ribbon is so lush in real life, it's a beautiful berry colour.
The stamp and papers on this card are from the Petal Passion suite and I was lucky enough to receive this stamp set at Onstage and I can't wait to play with it. The papers in this suite are all black and white and are perfect for adding colour to yourself.  Here I used a blender pen to pick up some ink from the lid of my inkpad to colour in some of my flowers, but you could always sponge or brayer ink on or colour the images with the new Stampin' Blends.
This cute bottle stamp set is perfect for making cards for children and the men in your life! It comes with matching dies so there is no limit to what you can do. It also has a matching set of Designer Series Paper which will be available as a free item during Sale-a-bration, how amazing is that? If you look closely you might be able to spot the clear epoxy bubbles beside the straw which make the ideal accessory for this set.
The last sneak peek I want to share with you are these tags made with products from the Tutti Frutti suite. There are 4 punches that co-ordinate with the images in this set and we all know pineapples are so on trend this year!
I hope you enjoy this special preview of the new catalogue. Demonstrators are able to order these products from 1st December and the catalogue goes live on 3rd January for customers. If you join my team during December, you can choose new products as part of your starter kit and get them before anyone else! You can find more information about this in the tabs above.

    Onstage Local and Swaps

I've just returned from a fantastic weekend of fun and inspiration at Stampin' Up's Onstage Local event in Solihull. I flew over to Birmingham on Friday morning to spend time with the rest of my team at an event hosted by my up-line Michelle. We had a yummy afternoon tea and spent the afternoon catching up and crafting.

After that it was time for a quick change and we were straight off to Stampin' Up's leader event - Centrestage. At registration we were given our bags and we got our first look at the new Spring/ Summer catalogue and Sale-a-bration brochure, you're going to love all the new items coming soon!! We were able to browse the display boards and see the display items made with the new products. I can't show you anything just yet, but will share soon.
We had a short business presentation then enjoyed a delicious dinner. I loved the table decorations, Stampin' Up always go the extra mile to make their events memorable for their demonstrators.
I also received a free stamp set from the new catalogue in my bag and a Stampin' Up logo t-shirt featuring a design from the upcoming catalogue.

These were my swaps, I thought the flower from the Remarkable You set resembled a poinsettia which gave me the inspiration for my design.
I stamped the image onto some Merry Music paper with black Memento ink and coloured it with my new Stampin' Blends before adding a Wink of Stella for some sparkle.
I added some Tombow glue to the edges of the paper and dipped it into a tub of Dazzling Diamonds glitter for even more sparkle and shine and added a sentiment from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set to finish.
I only managed to make 37 swaps which was just as well as I had a hard time fitting everything into my case for the journey home!

    Hearts come Home

I was recently involved in organising a get together for my fellow Stampin' Up Demos in Northern Ireland, the Northern Belles. As part of the day I was asked to provide a make 'n' take for everyone, and I decided to use one of my favourite bundles from the A/W catalogue - Hearts Come Home.
I used a sponge dauber to add some white ink to the edges of the Merry Music paper before layering it onto the mats and card base. I used my Stitched Shapes Framelits and Big Shot to cut a window through all three layers, you will need to run it through the Big Shot a few times to cut through all the layers.
I cut the front panel using one of the dies from the bundle then stamped my sentiment with Real Red ink. I then added the smallest amount of glue along the curve and to the rooftops and tree where snow would settle then sprinkled with some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to add a wintery sparkle to my card.

I stamped Santa and his reindeer through the window to get the positioning correct, and added some stitched ribbon to finish.

I hope you like my project today, you can purchase all the supplies I used for my card in my Online Shop, just click on the link below:

    Spooky Night Mini Album

I love Halloween and I'm really looking forward to my project class featuring the Spooky Night suite from the Autumn/Winter catalogue. The suite has everything you need for your Halloween crafting including patterned paper, cardstock, jewels, crochet trim  and the cutest mini test tubes ever!!
There is also the Spooky Cat stamp set and matching punch. The stamp has a cat image but did you know that you can use the punch  to punch out the cats from the matching paper? How handy is that?
One of the projects we will be making is this mini album featuring the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper.
I've used a retired stamp for the front cover but everything else is current.
The album is 5" x 6" and has lots of space and pockets inside for photos. I've also fussy cut lots of images from the patterned paper to decorate the inside of the album.

If you would like to try this project yourself, you can purchase the products I've used by clicking the link below:
