Hello again, today I'm playing along with the Global Design Project challenge blog
This week's challenge #GDP034 was to use this sketch from the very talented Teneale Williams, an Australian Demo.
I knew straight away that I wanted to use the Perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set which has a great watercolour effect stamp that used for my backround.
I placed a strip of removable tape across the centre of my card, then stamped the image three times to give an ombre effect. When I pulled the tape off, I was left with a well defined area where I added my sentiment, which I die cut using the Greetings Thinlets. I seem to be using these thinlets on every card I make at the minute, I just love them!
I used the small star stamp from the set and embossed them a few times with Versamark and gold embossing powder and that was my card done! Sometimes the simplest cards make the biggest statement.
You can find all the products I used in my card in my online shop, just click the link below
