Ombre Butterflies for Global Design Project #024

Good Morning, I have created today's card for the Global Design Project #024. We had to CASE a card from one of the Design Team, Michelle Last who makes the most stunning cards and is also my Stampin' Up upline.
I took inspiration from Michelle's use of butterflies and the colour blue to create my card today.

I die cut three butterflies from Whisper White cardstock using the Bold Butterflies Framelits and added ink to each one with my brayer. I used Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Island Indigo as my colours, I could have cut the butterflies directly from cardstock but I prefer the softer effect that brayering gives the butterflies.

I used the new Timeless Textures stamp set for my backround, the splatter stamp was embossed in gold which is hard to see in the picture. My final touch was to add some sparkle to my butterflies with my clear Wink of Stella pen.

I hope you liked my card today, if you would like to purchase these items or any other Stampin' Up products, please feel free to visit my online shop using the link below.

    1. Thanks Michelle, I always try to take part in the challenge, I usually get a card made but don't get it blogged until after the challenge has finished, so I was determined to be on the ball this week.
