Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on another Pinkies Blog Hop!  We're  showcasing lots of gorgeous projects using new Stampin' Up!® products that you can earn free during Sale-a-Bration. Simply use the buttons at the end of each post to keep hopping!

Today I would like to share a card made with Flowering Fields stamp set.
The floral images were stamped onto watercolour paper using Crushed Curry, Rose Red, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow inks.
I used a Blender Pen to pull the ink from the stamped outline into the centre of each image. I did try using an Aquabrush but I found that it washed out the detail of the stamped image.
Once I had coloured all the images, I stamped the sides and bottom of the card with the script stamp from the By The Tide stamp set and Crumb Cake ink. I stamped off onto my grid paper first to achieve a fainter image.
The edges were then sponged with Crumb Cake ink, and a greeting added.
I hope you enjoyed my project today, please use the buttons below to hop over to Catherine's blog and see the lovely project that she has made.

The Sky's the Limit Congratulations card

I love the free stamps available in this year's Sale-a-bration brochure for every £45 order and the Sky is the Limit was top of my list, particularly as it is available for a limited time only.
I love the samples in the brochure and CASed this card from one of those.

I used the Tree Builder Punch to create the clouds, and inked the edges with Soft Sky ink. I stamped the plane image onto Whisper White card before cutting it out and raising it with some Stampin' Dimensionals.
An extra little detail on this card that you might miss is the propeller cut from vellum using the Flower Fair Framelits and attached with a small silver brad.

Here is a list of the products used to create this project which are all available to purchase in my online shop.

Birthday Bouquet Hanging Calendar

Last night was our monthly team meeting and today I would like to share one of the projects that we made.

This little calendar is perfect for hanging by your desk or workspace and I think the flowers are the nice reminder that Spring is just around the corner.
The base was cut from the thick white card that comes at the back of a packet of Designer Series Paper.

Top Tip >>>> Always keep the card inserts that come in a pack of Designer Series Paper, it's great for mini albums, gift boxes and projects like this.

The patterned paper is from the Birthday Bouquet pack in the New Spring/Summer catalogue, and I handcut the flower and raised it up with some dimensionals. I thought the pearl trim from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit would make the perfect finishing touch.

Please see the table below for the products used in this project and just click on any of the pictures to be taken to my online shop.
