Stampin Up European Convention - Day 2 part 1

Day two started bright and early, we grabbed a quick breakfast from the local Metro station on the way to the Convention centre. We arrived to find hundreds of demos chatting and swapping and we quickly joined in. This is one of my favourite parts of Convention - chatting with other demos and seeing their beautiful creations.

The morning session soon got under way with inspiring workshops and classes.  It was great to have Stampin Up co-founder Shelli Gardner at Convention this year as she wasn't able to make it last year after a horse riding accident. It had been Shelli's birthday just before Convention and there were a few tears shed when she was called onto the stage to receive bags full of cards made by the demos in attendance.

After lunch it was time to explore the Demonstrator Resource Area where we could try out some new Stampin Up products including the Gift Box Punch board, Blendabilities, Project Life and the Wonderous Wreath stamp and Die bundle

Nicole and I also completed the service project, putting together birthday packages for sick children who would be spending their birthday in hospital. Over 300 packages in total were completed during Convention.

We just had time for a quick team photo before heading back into the hall for our afternoon session. It's great to part of such a large and talented team.

This cute baby gift set featuring the Work of Art stamp set was one of the projects on display in the demonstrator area.

I loved this winter scene from the Display Design Contest

One of my team mates, Lisa Cornwell created this beautiful Christmas table setting using products from the winter catalogue.

Call back tomorrow for part 2
