Curvy Keepsake Pumpkins

Last night was our monthly team meeting and as always when we get together there was plenty of stamping and chatting.

Every time Stampin' Up! demos get together we exchange swaps for ideas and inspiration and for my swap this month I used the Curvy Keepsake Die to create a pumpkin treat box, complete with chocolates inside!

I simply used the die to cut two pieces of Tangelo Twist card which are then joined together to form the box.

I used one of the stamps from the Work of Art set stamped in Tangelo Twist ink to add some ridge lines to my pumpkins

I wanted some leaves for the top of my pumpkin and decided to use the Feather Framelit Die from the A/W catalogue

The sentiment is from the Good Greetings, I just adore the hand-written style of this set.  You can get this set for FREE with a £200 party/order but remember this offer is only available until 31st October.

I think these would be cute as table favours at a Halloween party or even to give out to Trick or Treaters, don't you?

Project Life Documented Notebooks

We had our monthly team get together during the last week of August and we had a bit of a back to school theme and today I want to share one of our projects with you.

I love these Kraft Journals which are new to this years annual catalogue, the cover is plain for you to decorate yourself. We sponged a design on our cover using the new Hearts and Stars Decorative Masks and White Craft Ink but you can also use the masks for embossing, spritzing or even to trace a design.

The girls all received a packet of Project Life by Stampin' Up! Documented designer stickers in their kits, which they used to decorate their covers, and added a few shapes punched in Hello Honey, Pool Party and Basic Black to compliment the design of the masks.

The final detail was to add a ribbon bookmark. We simply cut a piece to the right length and attached it to the inside of the back cover before glueing the last page of the notebook to the cover for a neat finish. And the best bit is there were plenty of stickers left over for more notebooks!
